The 8th album, and the first 'self-titled' project in the discography.
In the tradition of crossing the various genre streams, this album is a culmination of the signature, eclectic style that is prominent throughout all of the W.K albums. The influence of various artist yields nods to legendary acts such as: Stevie Wonder, EWF (Earth, Wind, and Fire), Gino Vannelli, Level 42, and Jeff Lorber...while also giving reference to the undersold influences of the W.K rock realm: Van Halen, Toto, Yes, and Rush to name a few.
This is the only album to date that is solely performed from front to back by W.K, without any other musicians or featured artists. Each song/composition is reflective of actual situations, reflections, and connections. All songs recorded during the quarantine period of 2020 [March-June]. The eldest composition, "Kingdom" was written in 2002, while the most current song, "Painfully" was written on 21 Sept 2020 (11p).
