Sweet fusion all the way through – a beautifully breezy blend of reeds, keyboards, and guitars – all served up in a way that's wonderfully tight, and which has all elements coming together right on the groove! The set's not exactly funky, but has a slinky groove that's mighty nice – somewhere in a space between CTI and Kudu Records, but with some of the warm touches we love in Japanese fusion of the 70s – that way of soaring and stretching out, while still avoiding any overindulgence or tendency to jam too much. Great stuff throughout – and titles include "Lena", "Paradises Dream", "Music For A Flowered Pig", "Funky Fanky", and "Night Flight".
