Little is known about Street People, other than that the quintet originated in New Jersey. Their self-titled album didn't sell many copies, but is a credible release. True to their name, Street People had a pleasant under-the-street-lamp sound. A falsetto lead carried most of the songs. The romantic "Wanna Slow Dance With You Baby (At the Disco") only scored locally; it deserved a better fate.
